Interesting. They use my website in their article and use an image from an item in my Jackson collection as an example of a postcard "allegedly" signed by Manson with a swastika.
The first one (the postcard) is from my website. The second one (the cheque) is one they included where the signature just does not look right at all to me and they do not mention where they got the image from.
Here is where they reference my website:
Well, apparently there is a new show coming out that is starring David Duchovny and is called Aquarius and somehow features Charles Manson. I have the show set to record on the PVR. The first episode airs May 28th. Will be interesting to see how it is and I would love to hear your thoughts of what you think of the show too. And Gethin Anthony sure could make his career off a good portrayal of Manson.
So yes, one of my customers was on "Hard Core Pawn Chicago" and they prominently featured the 7 page letter I sold him!!! He did not mention my website nor where he got the letter from (or that part was not aired) but it was still pretty neat for me to see and I have watched the clip at least 5 times already. You can see his letter in my "SOLD" section on my website! I am also not too surprised at Wayne and Randy's reaction to the stuff as I have always known that Charles Manson autographs or memorabilia are not for everyone so I understand. My sister is disgusted with me having this stuff so I can relate. However, history is history is history! Some sites or companies, like RR Auction, will have no problem with selling Bonnie and Clyde autographs or Al Capone autographs but when it comes to Charles Manson, that apparently is a different story!!! I might have said it in a previous blog but apparently if you kill for your line of work, that is romanticized and interesting and apparently acceptable. However if you kill because you have some crazy ideas about starting a race war and so on, or if you are a serial killer, that is just wrong!!! Oh, apparently they also have no issue selling autographs of assassins of some of our great men and women in history either. I still do not know how those hypocrites can seem to have policies like that and think they are anything but absolute morons!!!!
Anyway, here is the link to the show!!
I wonder what it is about Christmas Day and New Year's Day that every year seem to get a lot more people to check out my site. I had 300 unique visitors on those two days alone this year. The number seems to go up each year too! Maybe it is that the stores are all closed and people have a little more time between family events or before parties (or maybe at parties too?) and surf the internet. Anyway, Happy New Year to all of you and thanks to those who have made my last year my most successful one ever!!!!!
Who would have believed he would make it to 78 years of age. And it is hard to believe that he actually committed the crimes over 43 years ago, before I was even born!!! I wonder how one gets to celebrate a birthday in prison. Hopefully I will never find out!!!
Well I thought of this tonight. It might be tacky given the original meaning of the song but I thought it was quite funny with the following slight modifications to the Suzanne Vega song:
My name is Luka Magnotta
I live on the second floor
I live upstairs from you
Yes i think you've seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble, some kind of fight
Just don't ask me what it was (3x)
Well, it seems pretty obvious to me that Charles simply has no interest in being paroled. I don't know what he would do if he got out of prison anyway. I am guessing he doesn't either. Though he would certainly create a huge media circus around him, possibly for the rest of his life. And I can only imagine what other craziness would come about. After all, he seems to be the most famous prisoner in North America and has people who hate him and people who follow him and many people who are simply fascinated by him (whether they like him or loathe him).......
Wikipedia at least seems to support my view:
